“야구로 좋은 세상을 꿈꾸는 헐크파운데이션”은 야구와 교육을 통해 청소년들에게 꿈과 희망을 배양합니다.
지난 2014년 야구 불모지였던 라오스에 최초로 야구팀을 창단하여 삶의 희망 없이 살아가던 라오스 청소년들에게 야구를 통해 꿈을 가질 수 있는 원동력을 만들어 주었습니다. 이를 통해 라오스에서 한국인의 위상을 높여 한국이라는 브랜드를 높이는데 크게 일조했습니다.
또한 라오스 정부의 신뢰를 받아 라오스 야구협회를 창립하고 국가대표팀까지 선발하게 됐습니다. 2014년부터 현재까지 꾸준하게 한국과 라오스를 오가며 라오스 선수들의 기량 발전을 위해 물심양면으로 실제적인 후원을 하고 있습니다. 그리고 한국야구 지도자를 현지에 파견하여 선수를 양성하고 앞으로 라오스야구 자립을 위해 지도자 육성 및 장학금을 지원하고 있습니다.
헐크파운데이션의 야구보급 활동은 라오스 내에서 청소년들에게는 야구를 통한 꿈을 , 라오스 국민들에게는 “좋은 한국“ 이라는 국가브랜드 이미지를 크게 높혀 주고 있습니다. 헐크파운데이션 재단은 2016년 4월 설립하여 매년 50여회의 국내 야구팀에 대한 재능기부와 환경이 열악한 지방도시 야구팀에 장비를 지원해 왔습니다.
또한 야구의 불모지인 라오스에 야구를 전파하여 지난 2020년 1월에 최초로 야구장을 건설했습니다. 라오스 국가대표팀을 선발하여 아시안게임에 처녀출전하고 이미지를 높여 주고 있습니다.
국내에서는 꿈나무 육성을 위해 이만수포수상 및 홈런상을 제정해서 매년 2명의 선수들에게 장학금과 장비를 지원하고 소외계층의 청년들에게 자활의 의지를 북돋아 주는 '리커버리 야구단'과 '이만수 배 발달장애인 야구대회'를 매년 열고 있습니다.
그리고 헐크파운데이션은 국내 뿐 아니라 해외에서도 계속 야구의 씨앗을 심고 꿈을 키워줍니다. 국내 야구 꿈나무 육성과 아마추어 야구 발전에 힘쓸 뿐 아니라 바다 건너 라오스와 베트남 그리고 캄보디아 및 인도네시아 마지막으로 중국까지 야구를 전파하고 있습니다.
헐크의 파워는 혼자가 아닌 , 함께 할 때 더욱 강해집니다.
헐크파운데이션은 야구 꿈나무들이 지역적 , 경제적 차별 없이 어느 누구라도 소외받지 않고 동등한 기회를 누릴 수 있도록 지원합니다. 또한 프로야구 선수가 되지 않은 이들도 당당한 사회인으로 거듭날 수 있도록 스포츠를 통한 인성 교육과 강인한 정신을 길러 주는 데 힘씁니다.
협동심과 희생정신이 없이는 승리할 수 없는 “야구“처럼 헐크파운데이션 또한 혼자 갈 수 없습니다. 모두 땀과 힘을 합칠 때 더 넓게 , 더 멀리 사랑과 나눔의 역전 만루홈런을 날릴 수 있습니다.

“Hulk Foundation: Dreaming of a Better World Through Baseball” cultivates dreams and hope in youth through baseball and education.
In 2014, it established the first baseball team in Laos, then a baseball wasteland, giving Laotian youth living without hope a driving force to dream through baseball. This significantly elevated the standing of Koreans in Laos and greatly contributed to enhancing the Korea brand.
Furthermore, earning the trust of the Lao government, we established the Lao Baseball Association and even selected a national team. Since 2014, we have consistently traveled between Korea and Laos, providing substantial and practical support in every way to develop the skills of Lao players. Furthermore, Korean baseball coaches are dispatched locally to train players, and efforts are underway to support coach development and scholarships to achieve self-sufficiency for Laos baseball.
The Hulk Foundation's baseball outreach activities are giving youth in Laos dreams through baseball and significantly enhancing the national brand image of “Korea as a good country” among the Laotian people. Established in April 2016, the Hulk Foundation annually provides talent donations to over 50 domestic baseball teams and supplies equipment to teams in provincial cities with poor facilities.
Furthermore, it introduced baseball to the previously untouched territory of Laos, constructing the country's first baseball field in January 2020. It selected the Laos national team, enabling its maiden appearance at the Asian Games and boosting its image.
Domestically, to nurture young talents, it established the Lee Man-soo Catcher Award and Home Run Award, annually providing scholarships and equipment to two players. It also hosts the ‘Recovery Baseball Team’ and the ‘Lee Man-soo Cup Baseball Tournament for People with Developmental Disabilities’ each year, encouraging self-reliance among marginalized youth.
Furthermore, the Hulk Foundation continues to plant the seeds of baseball and nurture dreams not only domestically but also overseas. While striving to cultivate domestic baseball talents and develop amateur baseball, it is spreading the sport across the seas to Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, and finally China.
Hulk's power grows stronger not alone, but together.
The Hulk Foundation supports young baseball talents so that anyone, regardless of regional or economic background, can enjoy equal opportunities without exclusion. It also focuses on character education and fostering a resilient spirit through sports, enabling those who do not become professional baseball players to become confident members of society.
Just as “baseball” cannot be won without teamwork and sacrifice, the Hulk Foundation cannot go it alone. Only when everyone combines their sweat and strength can we hit a grand slam home run of love and sharing that reaches farther and wider.
