< 인생과 야구의 길 >

우리 삶에는 꽃길만 있는 것이 아니다. 야구 또한 마찬가지다. 물론 즐겁게, 행복하게 야구할 수 있다면 더할 나위 없지만, 현실은 언제나 그렇지 않다. 나 역시 수많은 시련과 아픔을 겪었다. 도망치고 싶었던 순간이 한두 번이 아니었다. 그러나 그럼에도 다시 일어나 그라운드로 향할 수 있었던 것은, 야구가 내게 주는 의미와 가치를 잊지 않았기 때문이다.

경기에서 패하고, 성적이 떨어질 때 선수들은 쉽게 의욕을 잃는다. 특히 젊은 선수들은 압박감 속에서 야구의 재미마저 사라져 버리곤 한다. 하지만 나는 믿는다. 왜 야구를 하는지, 그 질문에 대한 분명한 답을 가진 사람이라면 어떤 난관이 닥쳐도 꺾이지 않을 것이다.

There are more than just flowery paths in our lives. The same goes for baseball. Of course, it's perfect if you can play baseball happily and happily, but the reality is not always the case. I also went through many trials and pains. There were more than one moment when I wanted to run away. However, I was able to get up again and head to the ground because I did not forget the meaning and value that baseball gave me.

Players easily lose motivation when they lose games and their performance declines. Young players, in particular, often lose the fun of baseball under pressure. But I believe. Anyone who has a clear answer to that question and why they play baseball will not be daunted by any obstacles.
