< 나의 길, 나의 원동력 >

나는 야구를 사랑했고, 그래서 끝까지 달려올 수 있었다. 어린 시절부터 남들과 다른 분명한 목표를 품고 살았기에 길을 잃지 않을 수 있었다. 그리고 무엇보다도, 내가 지치지 않고 여기까지 올 수 있었던 마지막 원동력은 신앙심이었다.

야구는 나의 인생을 비추는 거울이었다.

그 속에서 의미와 가치를 발견했고, 신앙심으로 흔들림 없는 발걸음을 이어올 수 있었다.

후배들에게 전하고 싶은 말은 단 하나다.

“무엇을 위해 야구하는지, 그리고 무엇을 위해 살아가는지 늘 묻고 답하라.
그 의미와 가치가 여러분의 진정한 열정을 불러일으킬 것이다.”

I loved baseball, so I could run to the end. Since I lived with a clear goal that was different from others from my childhood, I was able to not get lost. And most of all, the last driving force that allowed me to come this far without getting tired was faith.

Baseball was a mirror that reflected my life.

I discovered meaning and value in it, and I was able to continue my unshakable steps with my faith.

There is only one thing I want to say to my juniors.

"Always ask and answer what you play baseball for and what you live for.Its meaning and value will inspire your true passion."
