이 자리에 함께 계셔서 예배를 받아 주시는 하나님 아버지.

오늘도 은혜공동체가 한 마음으로 영광의 본체이신 하나님께 예배를 드릴 수 있도록 불러주셔서 감사드립니다.

지난 한 주간도 각자의 삶의 터전에서 고군분투하며 지내다가, 주일을 맞아 하나님을 예배하기 위해 모인 동역자들이 함께 찬송하며 함께 말씀앞에 서도록 은혜 주시니 감사합니다.

지난 주부터 시작된 인생의 대질문 시리즈를 기대하는 마음으로 예배를 드립니다.

인생의 주관자가 되시는 하나님께서 우리가 진리와 방향을 물어볼 때 하나님께서 정확한 응답을 통해 우리의 인생을 이끌어 가 주시기를 이 시간 간절히 기도합니다.

때로는 나의 욕망을 하나님의 뜻으로 포장하기도 하고, 교회안에서 생활과 교회 밖의 생활이 달라서 가까운 사람들에게 상처를 주고, 여전히 세상사람과 별반 다름없는 가치관을 가지고 그것이 잘못인지도 모른채 살아가는 저희들입니다.

행여 나의 잘못을 깨달아도 그것을 고칠 능력이 저희들 자신에게는 없습니다. 오직 주님께 은혜를 구하고, 주님의 자비에 의지하는 믿음의 사람들이 되게 하여 주시옵소서.

우리의 욕심으로 부르짖는 모든 것들을 하나님께서 들어주시지 않음도 감사드립니다. 우리의 삶 전체와 삶의 구석구석까지 하나님의 통치를 받을 수 있도록 도와주시옵소서.

하나님께서 하박국의 질문에 응답하신 것을 존귀한 목사님께서 잘 풀어 설명해 주실 때 듣는 저희들의 마음에 감동이 있게 하시고 각자의 인생에서 마주하는 질문에 대한 대답이 하나님께만 있음을 깨닫게 하여 주시옵소서.

주님외에는 다른 대안이 없음에도 이곳저곳을 기웃거리는 어리석음을 범치 않도록 도와주시고 하나님께서 인도하여 주시옵소서.

인생에서 만나는 문제들과 씨름하는 것이 아니고 아버지께서 주신 사명을 기억하며 당신과 씨름하는 저희들이 되게 하여 주시옵소서.

세계의 평화보다 자국의 이익이 우선되는 혼란스럽고 냉정한 이 시국에 우리나라를 다스리는 위정자들이 하나님이 살아계시고, 공의를 행하시는 분이라는 것을 깨닫고 특히 크리스찬 정치인들이 하나님이 주신 사명감으로 일할 수 있도록 은혜를 주시옵소서.

공동체와 다음세대를 위해 기도합니다. 인생의 어려움과 질병속에서 하나님만 바라는 동역자들을 하나님께서 만나주시고 작은 신음에도 일일이 응답하여 주시옵소서.

급변하는 다가올 미래를 짊어져야 할 다음세대를 위해 기도합니다. 인생에 대한 질문이 많아지는 젊은 시절에  하나님께서 주시는 분명한 대답을 듣고 믿음으로 반응하며, 세상의 풍조에 휘둘리지 않은 굳건한 다음세대로 주님께서 인도하시고 은혜주시옵소서.

말씀을 전하실 목사님을 위해 기도합니다. 이 시대에 꼭 필요한 말씀의 귀한 통로가 되어주심에 감사드리며, 사역과 삶을 하나님이 보시기에 아름답게 하셔서 동역자들과 함께 행복한 믿음의 여정을 인도하는 목사님 될 수 있도록 늘 은혜주시옵소서.

특별히 많은 사역가운데 건강 지켜주시고 그 가정도 평안의 날개로 덮어주시옵소서. 이제 인생의 대질문 두번째 강해설교를 듣습니다.

각자의 마음에 있는 다양한 질문들에 명확한 응답을 일일이 주실 것을 기대하며, 각자의 삶에 맡겨진 시대적 사명을 믿음으로 감당하는 은혜의 동역자들이 될 수 있도록 인도하여 주시옵소서.

모든 인생의 문제들을 십자가의 보혈로 해결해 주신 감사하신 예수님의 이름으로 기도드립니다. 아멘.....

< Representative Prayer >

Heavenly Father, thank You for being present here with us and receiving our worship.

We thank You for gathering us together today so that Grace Community can worship You, the very essence of glory, with one heart.

We thank You for Your grace that, after struggling diligently in our respective life circumstances throughout the past week, we fellow workers gathered to worship You on this Sunday, singing praises together and standing before Your Word.

We worship You with eager anticipation for the series on life's great questions that began last week.

We earnestly pray at this time that God, the sovereign ruler of our lives, will guide us through precise answers when we seek truth and direction.

Sometimes we disguise our desires as God's will. Sometimes our lives inside and outside the church differ, hurting those close to us. We still live with values not much different from the world's, often unaware that they are wrong.

Even when we recognize our faults, we lack the power to correct them ourselves. Grant us to be people of faith who seek only the Lord's grace and rely on His mercy.

We are also thankful that God does not grant every cry born of our selfish desires. Help us to submit our entire lives, every corner of our existence, to God's rule.

When our esteemed pastor eloquently explains God's response to Habakkuk's question, may our hearts be moved, and may we realize that the answers to the questions we face in our own lives come only from God.

Help us not to commit the folly of looking here and there for alternatives when there is none but the Lord, and may God guide us.

May we not wrestle with the problems we encounter in life, but remember the mission given by our Father and become those who wrestle with You.

In this chaotic and cold-hearted time when national interests take precedence over world peace, grant grace to the leaders governing our nation to realize that God is alive and acts with justice. Especially, may Christian politicians work with the sense of mission given by God.

We pray for the community and the next generation. May God meet our fellow workers who hope only in Him amidst life's hardships and sickness, responding to even their smallest groans.

We pray for the next generation who must bear the rapidly changing future ahead. In their youth, when questions about life multiply, may they hear God's clear answers, respond in faith, and be guided by the Lord to become a steadfast generation unshaken by worldly trends.

We pray for the pastor who proclaims the Word. We thank You for making him a precious channel of the Word so desperately needed in this age. May God make his ministry and life beautiful in Your sight, and may You always grant grace so he may become a pastor who leads a joyful journey of faith alongside his fellow workers.

In the midst of your many ministries, please preserve our health and cover our families with wings of peace. Now we hear the second sermon in the series on life's great questions.

We expect clear answers to the various questions in each heart, and we ask that you guide us to become co-workers in grace, faithfully fulfilling the mission entrusted to each of our lives in this era.

We pray in the name of Jesus, who graciously solved all life's problems through the precious blood of the cross. Amen.....
