이번 인도네시아 '유소년 야구 아카데미' 는 오래전부터 준비해서 들어오게 되었다. 이번에 참가한 권혁돈 감독과 헐크파운데이션 최홍준 부장 조성제 팀장 그리고 나용훈, 김세훈, 김대륙 후배들은 모두 자비량으로 인도네시아에 들어왔다.

이들은 1년의 휴가를 기쁜 마음으로 야구의 환경이 좋지 않은 곳에서 야구하는 이들을 위해 헌납할 정도로 헌신적인 사람들이다.

지난 11년 동안 수많은 이들이 빛도 없이 이름도 없이 묵묵하게 자신들이 갖고 있는 재능을 기쁜 마음으로 헌신하고, 봉사하고 있다. 이것을 지난 11년 동안 옆에서 지켜 보았기 때문에 나의 삶이 다 할 때까지 나는 이들과 함께 달려갈 것이다.

지난 11년 동안 수백명 아니 수천명들은 자신들을 나타내지 않고 열악한 환경에서 야구하는 그들에게 조금이라도 도움을 줄 수 있다면 물불을 가리지 않고 뛰어 다닌다. 이번에 인도네시아에 들어온 후배들 또한 넉넉한 삶을 사는 야구인도 아니다. 이들은 하나 같이 천사의 마음을 가졌고 마음의 부자들이다.

자신들의 여름 휴가를 기쁜 마음으로 반납하고 어떻게 해서라도 인도네시아의 옛 명성을 찾기 위해 40도 육박하는 무더운 나라로 날라왔다. 앞에서도 잠깐 언급했지만 인도네시아 야구를 부흥 시키기 위해 자신들의 재능을 기쁜 마음으로 기부하는 자랑스러운 후배들이자 스텝진이다.

아직 젊은 후배들이라 인도네시아 들어오기 몇달전부터 돈을 모았다고 한다. 이렇게 지난 11년 동안 모든 사람들이 자비량으로 야구 봉사하기 위해 머나먼 나라로 들어왔다. 이렇게 자비량으로 들어왔기 때문에 함부로 행동하거나 나와 선수들에게 누를 끼치지 않기 위해 모두가 행동을 조심하고, 자신들이 갔고 있는 재능을 최선을 다해 이들에게 가르치고 봉사했다.

나는 지난 11년 동안 이들의 헌신적인 사랑이 없었던들 지금의 동남아 야구는 존재하지도 않았을 것이다.

이들이야 말로 진정한 이 땅의 큰바위 얼굴이다.

앞에서도 잠깐 언급했지만 이번 인도네시아 '유소년 야구 아카데미'의 성공적인 개최를 위해 7명의 스텝진 및 심판들이 자비로 들어 왔다. 그들은 자신의 사비를 들여 비교적 저렴한 항공을 이용해 인도네시아에 들어왔다. 하지만 그렇다 하더라도 이들에게는 적지않은 부담이 되었을 것이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 이들은 야구로 한마음을 품고 사랑을 전하고자 머나먼 인도네시아로 들어온 것이다.

부족한 나도 이분들에게 조금이라도 마음의 빚을 갚기 위해 나의 삶이 다하는 그날까지 최선을 다해 달려갈 것이다.

This time, Indonesia's Youth Baseball Academy has been prepared for a long time. Coach Kwon Hyuk-don, Hulk Foundation manager Choi Hong-joon, team leader Cho Sung-je, and juniors Na Yong-hoon, Kim Se-hoon, and Kim Dae-ryuk all entered Indonesia with their own money.

They are so dedicated that they happily dedicate a year's vacation to those who play baseball in bad conditions.

Over the past 11 years, many people have been silently dedicating and serving their talents with joy without light or name. I have watched this from the side for the past 11 years, so I will run with them until my life is over.

Over the past 11 years, hundreds, or even thousands, have not represented themselves and have run around in the water if they can give them any help in playing baseball in poor circumstances. The juniors who entered Indonesia this time are not baseball players who live a generous life. They all have angelic hearts and are rich in hearts.

They returned their summer vacation with joy and flew to a hot country near 40 degrees to find Indonesia's old reputation. As mentioned earlier, they are proud juniors and staff members who happily donate their talents to revive Indonesian baseball.

They are still young juniors, so they are said to have collected money a few months before entering Indonesia. In this way, over the past 11 years, everyone has come to a faraway country to serve baseball at their own expense. In order not to act recklessly or put pressure on me and the players, everyone was careful of their actions, and taught and served them as best as they could with the talents they were going to.

I don't think Southeast Asian baseball today would have existed without their devoted love for the past 11 years.

As mentioned earlier, seven staff and referees came at their own expense for the successful hosting of Indonesia's Youth Baseball Academy. They entered Indonesia using relatively cheap aviation at their own expense. However, even so, it would have been a considerable burden to them. Nevertheless, they came to Indonesia far away to share their love with baseball.

Even I, who are not good enough, will do my best until the day when my life is over in order to pay off my heart's debt to these people.
