손사랑 부부는 20대 후반에 라오스에 입국하여 루앙프라방에서 피아노 학원과 카페를 운영하면서 3명의 아이들을 키우고 있다. 손사랑 감독은 야구를 사랑하고 야구를 좋아하는 팬으로서 루앙프라방에 아직 야구팀이 없는것을 아쉬워 하다가 지난 2년 전에 라오스 루앙프라방에 제2의 야구단을 창단하고 책임자로 지금까지 '수파노봉 대학교' 팀을 이끌어 가고 있다.

손사랑 감독은 늘 라오스 야구 선수들의 역동적인 모습을 보고 수도 위앙짠에만 제한하는 것이 아니라 루앙프라방에도 이런 역동적인 선수들이 있었으면 하는 바람에 지난 2년 전에 루앙프라방 최초로 야구단을 만들게 되었다고 한다. '헐크파운데이션' 스텝진들은 지난 2년 동안 꾸준하게 루앙프라방 수파노봉 대학교 팀을 지원하고 있었다.

평생 한길로 달려온 야구인으로서 라오스 수도인 비엔티안에 있는 팀과 라오스 제2의 도시인 루앙프라방에 또다른 팀을 창설하게 되어 야구하는 한사람으로서 얼마나 기쁜지 모른다. 모든것들이 다 척박하고 어려운 상황임에도 손사랑 감독은 홀로 그 오랜 시간 동안 묵묵하게 선수들을 이끌어 오고 있다.

지금도 잊혀지지 않는 것이 처음 가는 루앙프라방 길이 얼마나 어렵고 힘든지를 잘 알기에 우리 '헐크파운데이션' 스텝진들이 홀로 모든 선수들을 챙기고 가르치는 손사랑 감독에게 조금이라도 도움이 되고 싶은 마음이다…

만약 혼자 가는 길이라면 그 길이 어려울지도 모르지만 함께 가는 길동무가 있는 길이라면 이 길 끝까지 갈 수 있으리라… 나 또한 처음 이 길을 갈 때 몰라서 여기까지 올수 있었던 것 처럼...

우리 손사랑 감독도 힘들고 어려운 길인지 모르고 끝까지 갔으면 하는 바람이다….

“지나온 시간들을 생각해 보면 아무 것도 이룬 것 없이 막막하기만 할 뿐이고, 앞으로 무엇을 어떻게 해야 할지 모르는 상황일지라도 과거의 산물만으로 볼 것이 아니라 미래에 종속된 자아를 볼 수 있어야 한다. 다가올 미래를 어떻게 그리고, 어떻게 구상하며, 어떻게 이끌어 갈 것인지 하나씩 계획해 나간다면 다가올 미래를 바꾸는 데 지금의 내 모습과 행동이 바뀌는 것이다.”

Son Sa-rang and his wife entered Laos in their late 20s and are raising three children by running a piano academy and cafe in Luangpabang. As a fan of baseball and a fan of baseball, Son Sa-rang regretted that Luangpabang did not have a baseball team yet, but founded the second baseball team in Luangpabang, Laos, two years ago and is leading the "Supanobong University" team as the head of the team.

Coach Son Sa-rang is said to have created the first baseball team in Luang Prabang two years ago because he always wanted to have such dynamic players in Luang Prabang, not just limited to the capital Weiang Tran when he saw the dynamic nature of Laos baseball players. The "Hulk Foundation" staff have been consistently supporting the Luang Pavang Supanobong University team for the past two years.

As a baseball player who has worked the same way all his life, I am very happy to have a team in Vientiane, the capital of Laos, and another team in Luang Prabang, the second-largest city of Laos. Despite everything being barren and difficult, manager Son Sa-rang has been silently leading the players for that long time alone.

What is still not forgotten is how difficult and difficult the first Luang Prabang path is, so I want to be of any help to coach Son Sa-rang, who takes care of all the players and teaches them alone…
