지난 8월 27일, 김세훈 고양특례시 야구소프트볼협회 회장이 인도네시아 자카르타를 방문해 인도네시아 야구협회와 선수들에게 야구공 500개를 전달했다. 이후 인도네시아 야구협회 관계자 ‘우그라세나’로부터 감사 인사가 도착했다. 단순한 기증을 넘어, 앞으로 이어질 교류와 협력의 의미가 담긴 소중한 순간이었다.

김세훈 회장은 이번 방문에서 인도네시아 야구협회와 협약식을 갖고, 상호 협력을 통해 야구 인프라 확충, 체육교육 과정 구성, 학교 스포츠클럽 활성화 등 다양한 발전 방향을 논의했다. 인도네시아 측은 한국 지도자들의 열정과 헌신에 큰 감명을 받았으며, 특히 김세훈 회장의 진심 어린 헌신에 깊은 신뢰를 보내고 있다.

이미 인도네시아는 동남아시아에서 가장 탄탄한 야구 기반을 갖춘 나라 중 하나다. 이제 중요한 것은 발전의 속도와 방향이며, 그 과정에서 한국 야구의 경험은 소중한 길잡이가 될 것이다. 김세훈 회장은 인도네시아에 국한되지 않고, 베트남·태국·필리핀 등 여러 동남아 국가들의 야구 발전을 위해서도 지속적으로 힘쓸 계획이다.

그의 이번 행보는 단순한 방문이 아니다. 한국 야구가 걸어온 길을 되짚으며, 인도네시아를 비롯한 동남아 국가들과 함께 새로운 미래를 설계하는 과정이다. 지난 11년간 동남아 곳곳에서 작은 주춧돌을 놓아온 헌신은 이제 거대한 탑으로 세워질 준비를 하고 있다.

머지않아 인도네시아와 동남아 그라운드에서 울려 퍼질 함성은, 이 지역 야구의 새로운 역사를 열어갈 것이다. 작은 씨앗이 거목이 되듯, 오늘의 작은 나눔이 내일의 큰 변화를 만들어낼 것이다.

On August 27, Kim Se-hoon, chairman of the Goyang Special City Baseball Softball Association, visited Jakarta, Indonesia, and delivered 500 baseballs to the Indonesian Baseball Association and its players. Later, a thank you arrived from the Indonesian Baseball Association official "Ugrasena." It was a precious moment with the meaning of exchange and cooperation that will continue beyond just donation.

Chairman Kim Sei-hoon held an agreement ceremony with the Indonesian Baseball Association during the visit, and discussed various development directions such as expanding baseball infrastructure, forming physical education courses, and revitalizing school sports clubs through mutual cooperation. The Indonesian side is very impressed with the enthusiasm and dedication of Korean leaders, and in particular, it is deeply trusting in Chairman Kim Sei-hoon's sincere dedication.

Indonesia already has one of the strongest baseball bases in Southeast Asia. What matters now is the speed and direction of development, and the experience of Korean baseball will be a valuable guide in the process. Chairman Kim Se-hoon plans to continue to make efforts to develop baseball in Southeast Asian countries, including Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines, not just Indonesia.

His move is not just a visit. It is the process of designing a new future with Indonesia and other Southeast Asian countries, while reflecting on the path that Korean baseball has taken. The dedication that has laid a small foundation in many parts of Southeast Asia over the past 11 years is now preparing to be built as a huge tower.

In the near future, the roar from the Indonesian and Southeast Asian grounds will open up a new history of baseball in the region. Just as small seeds become giant trees, today's small sharing will make a big difference for tomorrow.
