< 안성기 선배를 그리워하며 >

지난 5일 국민배우 안성기 선배의 비보를 듣게 되었다. 나는 어린시절부터 유난히 좋아했던 것이 영화였다. 물론 어른이 되어서도 영화를 좋아하는 편이다.

지금도 잊을 수 없었던 것은 우리가족 모두가 재미있게 보았던 영화가 '실미도'였다. 영화 '실미도'는 2003년 개봉한 우리나라 최초의 천만관객 영화로 부흥의 시기가 되었던 영화다.

'실미도' 영화는 실화를 바탕으로 했던 영화라 우리나라 국민들에게 센셔이션을 일으켰던 영화이기도 했다. 온 가족이 영화관에 가서 재미있게 보았던 기억이 있어 기회가 있을 때마다 한번 '실미도'를 촬영했던 세트장을 구경하고 싶었다. 지금 살고 있는 곳과 멀지 않아 온 가족이 다함께 '실미도' 영화를 찍었던 세트장으로 구경갔던 기억은 지금도 잊을 수 없다.

안성기 선배를 처음 뵌것이 2014년 8월이었으니 어느덧 12년이 되었다. 함신익 지휘자가 이끄는 '심포니 송' 창단하고부터 매년 큰 행사가 있을 때마다 가끔 안성기 선배를 만나 이야기 했던 기억이 있다.

안성기 선배나 나나 함신익 지휘자가 이끄는 '심포니 송' 홍보대사로 소속이 되어 있어 중요한 모임이 있을 때 자연스럽게 만나 많은 대화를 나누었다. 처음 안성기 선배를 만날 때가 기억에 많이 남는다. 안성기 선배는 너무나 다정하게 먼저 다가와 인사를 하며 젊은 시절 팬이었다며 이야기 해 준다. 솔직히 내가 운동할 때 안성기 선배의 영화를 보며 많이 좋아했던 기억이 있는데 오히려 선배님이 그렇게 말씀해 주시니 너무 좋아했던 기억이 있다.

지금도 잊을 수 없었던 것은 안성기 선배는 예술을 상당히 좋아하시는 분이다. 특히 함신익 지휘자가 이끌고 있는 '심포니 송' 오케스트라 연주가 있을 때마다 구경을 갔을 정도로 오케스트라를 좋아하셨다.

안성기 선배를 마지막으로 보았던 것이 지난 2023년 9월이었으니.....

2023년 9월초에 ‘보라매타운 가을음악회’에 세계 첫 이동 콘서트홀 ‘더 윙’ 공연이 열리던 날이다. 이날 ‘보라매타운 주민들과 함께하는 가을음악회’를 개최할 때 맨 앞줄에 안성기 선배와 같이 앉아 이런저런 이야기 나누었던 기억은 지금도 잊을 수가 없다. 이때만 해도 안성기 선배가 건강이 좋지 않은 상태임에도 후배를 만나 반갑다며 나의 손을 꼭 잡으셨다.

이날 안성기 선배와 함께 나도 함신익 지휘자 초청을 받아 기쁜 마음으로 인천에서 서울로 달려갔던 기억이 있다. 이날은 세계 최초로 8.5t 트럭이 세계 첫 이동 콘서트홀로 변신해 ‘더 윙’ 공연이 열린 날이다.

이날 내가 썼던 칼럼이 기사화 되어 여기에 옮겨본다.

함신익 지휘의 초청으로 영화배우 안성기 선배님과 함께 커팅의 영광을 받았다. 특히 혈액암 투병 중인 국민배우 안성기 선배님이 건강한 모습으로 나타나 함신익 후배를 축하해 주었다.

세계최초 움직이는 콘서트 홀 ‘더 윙-The Wing’을 새롭게 제작하여 연 ‘보라매타운 주민과 함께하는 가을음악회’는 주민들의 뜨거운 박수 갈채와 큰 호응을 얻었다.

신형 8.5톤 트럭을 개량한 이동 콘서트 홀

이전에 없던 이동무대를 새로 구입한 신형 8.5톤 트럭은 완벽한 음향시설, 야간조명, 45명의 연주자가 편히 연주할 수 있는 여유 있는 무대, 주요 콘서트홀과 같이 3단으로 펼쳐지는 계단식 스테이지, 천장이 5미터 이상까지 올라감에 따라 모든 위치에서 청중과 연주자가 서로 마주볼 수 있는 오픈스테이지가 장착된 세계 유일한 오케스트라용 이동시설이다.

어제 심포니송 ‘더 윙’ 공연을 시작으로 향후 45명 오케스트라 단원들을 태운 새로운 무대가 전국으로 투어가 열린 것이다.

첫 공연에는 테너 윤정수와 함께 브람스의 '헝가리 무곡', 모리코네의 '가브리엘의 오보에', 푸치니의 '네순 도르마', 블랙핑크의 '셧다운' 등 다채로운 프로그램을 선보였다.”

앞에서도 잠시 언급했지만 이날 안성기 선배와 함께 커팅의 영광을 받았다. 혈액암 투병 중인 국민배우 안성기 선배님이 건강한 모습으로 나타나 함신익 후배를 축하할 정도로 선배님은 오케스트라를 좋아하셨다.

그날 선배님을 부축하며 같이 커팅했을 때 선배님의 따뜻한 온기와 웃음은 나의 깊은 내면에 영원히 자리 잡고 있다.

예술인으로서 평생을 바친 선배님 진심으로 존경을 표하며 삼가 고인의 명복을 빕니다.

On the 5th, I heard the sad news of the national actor Ahn Sung-ki. Since childhood, I have been particularly fond of movies. Of course, I like movies even when I become an adult.

What I still can't forget was the movie "Silmido" that all of my family enjoyed. The movie "Silmido" was Korea's first movie with 10 million viewers released in 2003, and it was a time of revival.

The "Silmido" movie was based on a true story, so it was also a movie that became sensational to the Korean people. I remember the whole family going to the movie theater and enjoying it, so I wanted to see the set where I filmed "Silmido" once whenever I had a chance. I still can't forget the memory of going to the set where the whole family filmed "Silmido" movie together because it was not far from where I live now.

It has already been 12 years since I first met Ahn Sung-ki in August 2014. I remember meeting Ahn Sung-ki every year when there was a big event every year since the foundation of the Symphony Song led by conductor Ham Shin-ik.

Since he is a member of the "Symphony Song" promotional ambassador led by Ahn Sung-ki and I or Ham Shin-ik, we naturally met and talked a lot when there was an important meeting. The first time I met Ahn Sung-ki was very memorable. Ahn Sung-ki approached me so sweetly first, said hello, and told me that he was a fan when he was young. Honestly, I remember watching Ahn Sung-ki's movies a lot when I was working out, but I remember I liked him so much when he said that.

What I still can't forget is that Ahn Sung-ki likes art quite a lot. In particular, he liked the orchestra so much that he went to see the "Symphony Song" orchestra led by conductor Ham Shin-ik.

The last time I saw Ahn Sung-ki was in September 2023...

It is the day when the world's first mobile concert hall "The Wing" was held at the "Borametown Autumn Concert" in early September 2023. I still can't forget the memory of sitting with Ahn Sung-ki in the front row when holding the "Autumn Concert with Borametown Residents" on this day. At this time, Ahn Sung-ki held my hand, saying he was glad to meet his junior, even though he was in poor health.

Along with Ahn Sung-ki, I also remember being invited by conductor Ham Shin-ik and running from Incheon to Seoul with joy. The day was the day when the world's first 8.5 ton truck turned into the world's first mobile concert hall, and the "The Wing" performance was held.

At the invitation of Ham Shin-ik, he received the honor of cutting with actor Ahn Sung-ki. In particular, national actor Ahn Sung-ki, who is fighting blood cancer, appeared healthy and congratulated Ham Shin-ik.

The Autumn Concert with the Residents of Boramatown, which was newly created and opened the world's first moving concert hall, The Wing-The Wing, received enthusiastic applause and great response from residents.

Mobile concert hall with improved 8.5-ton truck

The new 8.5 ton truck, which has purchased a new mobile stage that has never been before, is the world's only moving facility for orchestras equipped with perfect sound facilities, night lighting, a relaxed stage for 45 performers to play comfortably, a step-by-step stage spread in three stages like major concert halls, and an open stage where audiences and performers can face each other at all locations as the ceiling rises to more than 5 meters.

Starting with the symphony "The Wing" performance yesterday, a new stage carrying 45 orchestra members was held nationwide.

The first performance featured a variety of programs with tenor Yoon Jeong-su, including Brahms' "Hungarian Mugok," Morricone's "Gabriel's Oboe," Puccini's "Nessun Dorma," and Black Pink's "Shutdown."

As mentioned earlier, I received the honor of cutting with Ahn Sung-ki. He liked the orchestra so much that Ahn Sung-ki, a national actor who is fighting blood cancer, appeared healthy and congratulated Ham Shin-ik, a junior.

When I helped him and cut him that day, his warm warmth and laughter are forever embedded in my deep inner world.

I sincerely respect the senior who devoted his life as an artist and pray for the rest of his life.
