< 한사람의 열정이 세상을 변화시킨다 >

오늘은 한 사람을 소개하기 위해 팬을 든다. 김앤장에서 촉망 받는 유능한 사람이 본인의 큰 뜻이 있어 새로운 일을 위해 안정된 직장을 그만 두고 1년에 여러 번 캄보디아로 들어가 앞으로 있을 미래와 하나님이 주신 사명을 위해 큰 꿈을 품고 미지의 세계로 들어간다.

이윤 대표를 알게 된 것은 전 SK와이번스 대표이사로 있었던 민경삼 대표로부터 소개를 받게 되면서다. 이윤 대표는 초중학생 시절에 야구광으로, 본인이 건전하게 성장한 배경에는 야구가 있었다고 하며, 야구를 통해 캄보디아 청소년들에게 꿈과 희망을 전해주고 싶은 마음을 늘 갖고 있었다고 한다. 그래서 좀더 구체적으로 이들 청소년들에게 야구를 통해 어떻게 비전을 전해주고 어떻게 이들에게 희망과 꿈을 전해 줄 수 있을지 늘 고민해 왔다고 한다.

민경삼 대표로부터 소개받게 된 것이 2025년 작년 봄이다. 나 또한 라오스와 베트남 그리고 캄보디아와 인도네시아 거기다가 중국까지 정신없이 다니는 바람에 민경삼 대표한테 소개는 받았지만 작년 11월 24일에 첫 만남을 가졌다.

이날 부부모임으로 만나 오랜 시간 동안 이윤 대표가 갖고 있는 비전에 대해 이야기 들었고 또 앞으로 있을 미래에 대한 그의 청사진과 열정 그리고 그의 꿈에 대해 듣게 되었다. 이날 처음 만났지만 여러 번 통화를 주고받았기 때문에 이윤 대표의 비전에 대해 어느 정도는 예상하고 있었다.

이윤 대표는 동남아 야구에 대해 비전을 품고 있어 앞으로 라오스 루앙프라방 및 캄보디아에 야구를 통해 좀더 구체적인 프로젝트에 대해 이야기를 들었다. 이미 그는 여러 번 캄보디아에 들어가 큰 계획을 갖고 일을 준비하고 있는 상태였다. 그 중에 하나가 학교였다. 넓은 부지에 야구장을 짓고 그들에게 야구를 통해 큰 꿈을 꾸게 할 수 있다는 생각을 갖게 되었다고 한다. 그래서 구체적인 청사진도 이미 만들어 나에게 설명했다.

이윤 대표는 캄보디아 학교와 야구장 그리고 라오스 루앙프라방 청소년들에게도 똑 같은 비전을 제시해 함께 달려갈 수 있는 프로젝트를 준비하고 있다.

지난번에도 글을 썼지만 이윤 대표와의 만남은 라오스 루앙프라방에 '천군만마'를 만난 것과 같다. 물론 앞으로 해쳐 나가야 할 일들이 산적해 있지만 언제나 첫걸음이 중요하다는 것을 알고 있기에 절대 서두르지 않으려고 한다. 내가 지난 11년 동안 동남아로 내려가 야구를 통해 많은 역사를 만들었기 때문에 이것 또한 힘들고 어렵게 보일지 모르나 이것 또한 이윤 대표와 함께 하면 멀지 않아 놀라운 기적으로 나타나리라 확신한다.

여러 번 글로 썼지만 나비의 작은 날갯짓이 날씨 변화를 일으키듯, 미세한 변화나 작은 사건이 추후 예상하지 못한 엄청난 결과로 이어지는 것을 우리는 ‘나비효과’라고 부른다. 갑자기 이윤 대표를 이야기하면서 나비효과가 무슨 연관이 있는지 궁금해할 것이다. 한사람의 작은 헌신이 장차 나타날 나비효과를 실감하게 될 그날도 멀지 않을 것이다.

야구 인프라가 전혀 없는 캄보디아 국가의 열악한 환경을 극복하고 야구 보급을 하는 것은 거의 불가능에 가까운 일이라고 사람들은 말할지 모른다. 그리고 야구보급은 많은 저해요인에 의해서 한계에 부딪히고 캄보디아 및 라오스 국민들의 관심을 이끌어 내기는 역부족일 것이라는 예상이 대세를 이루고 있지만, 나의 지난 11년 동안 모두가 불가능하다고 할 때 가능케 했던 지난 시간들이다.

여기에 이윤 대표의 진정성 있는 작은 노력의 결과들이 더해진다면 캄보디아와 라오스 루앙프라방 야구는 지속적으로 성장할 것이라 믿는다. 이윤 대표의 열정적인 비전이 더해져 캄보디아와 라오스 루앙프라방에서 시작된 작은 날갯짓이 앞으로 인도차이나반도에 큰 폭풍을 만들어 낼 것이라 기대가 된다. 이윤 대표의 날갯짓이 작은 바람이 되어 지금 라오스 루앙프라방과 캄보디아에 큰 광풍을 만들어 낼 것이라 기대한다.

이윤 대표와 함께 걷는 이 걸음이 언젠가 더 강력한 폭풍이 되어 라오스 루앙프라방과 캄보디아뿐만 아니라 인도네시아, 중국까지 야구 광풍을 일으킬 것이라 기대해 본다.

Today, I am raising a fan to introduce one person. A promising competent person in Kim & Chang has a big will of his own, so he leaves his stable job for a new job and enters Cambodia several times a year, and enters the unknown with a big dream for the future and God-given mission.

He got to know CEO Lee Yoon when he was introduced by Min Kyung-sam, who was the former CEO of the SK Wyverns. CEO Lee Yoon said that baseball was a baseball fanatic in his elementary and middle school years, and that he always wanted to convey dreams and hopes to Cambodian youth through baseball. So, he said he has always thought about how to convey his vision to these youths and how to convey hopes and dreams to them through baseball.

I was introduced by CEO Min Kyung-sam last spring in 2025. I was also introduced to Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, and China, so I was introduced by CEO Min Kyung-sam, but I met him for the first time on November 24 last year.

We met as a couple meeting on this day, and for a long time, we heard about CEO Lee Yun's vision and his blueprints, passion, and dreams for the future. We met for the first time on this day, but we had some expectations about CEO Lee Yun's vision because we exchanged phone calls several times.

CEO Lee Yun has a vision for Southeast Asian baseball, so he heard about more specific projects through baseball in Luang Prabang, Laos, and Cambodia in the future. He had already entered Cambodia several times and had a big plan and was preparing for work. One of them was a school. It is said that he came up with the idea that he could build a baseball stadium on a large site and make them dream big through baseball. So, he already made a specific blueprint and explained it to me.

CEO Lee Yun is preparing a project to run together by presenting the same vision for Cambodian schools, baseball stadiums, and Laotian Luang Prabang youth.

I wrote last time, but my meeting with CEO Lee Yun is like meeting "Cheongunmanma" in Luang Prabang, Laos. Of course, there are a lot of things to be done in the future, but I always know that the first step is important, so I try not to rush it. This may seem hard and difficult because I have gone down to Southeast Asia for the past 11 years and made a lot of history through baseball, but I'm sure this will also appear as a surprising miracle in the near future with CEO Lee Yoon.

Just as a butterfly's small wing flaps cause weather changes, even though it has been written several times, we call it the "butterfly effect" when minor changes or small events lead to enormous unexpected results in the future. Suddenly, while talking about CEO Lee Yun, you will wonder what the butterfly effect has to do. The day when one's small dedication will come to realize the butterfly effect in the future will not be long.

It may be said that it is almost impossible to overcome the poor environment of Cambodia, which has no baseball infrastructure at all, and to distribute baseball. And although baseball supply is widely expected to be limited by many obstacles and insufficient to attract the attention of Cambodian and Lao people, these are the past times that have been made possible when everyone has said it is impossible for me over the past 11 years.

I believe that Cambodia and Laos Luang Prabang baseball will continue to grow if the results of Lee Yun's sincere small efforts are added to this. With Lee Yun's passionate vision, it is expected that the small wings that began in Luang Prabang, Cambodia and Laos, will create a big storm on the Indochina Peninsula in the future. It is expected that Lee Yun's wings will become a small wind and create a big frenzy in Luang Prabang and Cambodia in Laos.

It is expected that this walk with CEO Lee Yun will one day become a stronger storm and cause a baseball frenzy not only in Luang Prabang and Cambodia in Laos, but also in Indonesia and China.
